St Benedict’s welcomed two members of staff who work at St Andrews Golf Course in Scotland today. Golf has been a game that has been played and loved by many for generations. Its history is enriched with great stories, triumphs and perseverance; they talked about how golf clubs used to be made from wood and how golf balls used to be filled with feathers. They told the children all about the heritage of women’s golf, from the first tournament won up to present day. There's a ladies competition ’ BRITISH OPEN AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP 'which is going to be held locally at Hillside Golf Club from 26-30th of June.
