LiveSimply Award
We had a wonderful celebration today. Thank you, Mrs Joan McCarthy, for presenting the LiveSimply award to our school and the Faith in Action awards to our Year 6 children. Thank you also to CAFOD for joining us and for your continued support.
Summer Reading Challenge
Adam from Sefton Libraries came into school to tell us about the Summer Reading Challenge. Children can pop down to the local library to register and enjoy their wide range of books over the summer. They’ll get rewards along the way.
Mini Eurovision at the Tung Auditorium
Well done to our Choir who took part in the mini Eurovision at the Tung Auditorium in Liverpool University. They sang in German and Ukrainian and were entertained by other choirs who sang in different languages. It was a fabulous experience for all.
CAFOD Assembly
We welcomed Linda and Jacky from CAFOD Liverpool to assembly today. They thanked us for raising money in our Big Lent Walk and showed us how the money will be used to help our global neighbours. Live Simply.
Pysanka Egg Project
Our egg has been revealed today! We’ve loved being part of this Euro Learn art project with Nicola McGovern and Culture Pool to celebrate Eurovision. The eggs are on display in Liverpool One until May.
Big Lent Walk
Our whole school took part in the Big Lent Walk today. 1km x 200 children = 200km. We walked around our local area to raise awareness and money for CAFOD, supporting our global brothers and sisters.
