RE: Beginnings

Our first topic for RE is ‘Beginnings’. We learn about the Creation story and God being there at our different beginnings. We studied Psalm 19 and explored the scripture. The children also listened to ‘Morning’ from the Peer Gynt Suite by Edvard Grieg and we talked about what it makes us think of and how it could link to the scripture passage. The children created a prayerful dance in groups to accompany this piece of music and then produced beautiful artwork to illustrate Psalm 19.
