As part of the continuation of our science topic on the local area, we went on a trip to the local woods to compare this woodland habitat with the canal habitat we had previously visited. We wanted to observe and identify a variety of plants and animals in this different habitat and the children once again took their science equipment and investigation sheets to help them to identify living things. They were very successful and could compare the living things in both habitats. At the end of the trip, the children had the opportunity to play on the park together and we had a great day!
